The words of Matthew 4:4 resonate: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Inspired by this verse, the Evangelical Baptist Church in Al Fanar initiated the ‘Bread of Life’ campaign.
With the ongoing distribution, over 300 portions consisting of various types of bread, pastries, accompanied by the Holy Bible, daily devotionals, and a brief on Christ’s life and teachings were shared. Youth members reached out to families around the church, delivering these portions along with a message of salvation. Additionally, several church families actively contributed, distributing to their neighbors.
We witnessed the Lord’s magnanimous work as many responded positively to this campaign, some even beginning to attend church gatherings regularly. We pray for the Lord’s continued blessings upon them and the forthcoming campaign, hoping to witness numerous souls embracing Christ, the true Bread of Life.
This initiative reflects our commitment to not only provide physical sustenance but also spiritual nourishment, echoing the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe that through such acts of kindness and sharing, we can spread His love and message of hope within our community.
